On July 22nd, 2017, Borivali Youth Forum undertook an escapade to Prabalgad for a Monsoon trek.
50 members from Borivali, apart from the core team of Borivali Youth Forum, participated and had a fulfilling day together.
Not just during the trek, but the members showed equal enthusiasm during the bus journey too.
The monsoon trek, amidst the mesmerizing waterfalls turned out to be a perfect way to socialize, chat and enjoy the nature at the same time.
Borivali Youth Forum hopes to conduct many more of such events so that the Youth comes together and stays connected.
Borivali Youth Forum, in association with Pedal Rollers, conducted an Early Morning Cycling event on September 17th, 2017.
The meeting point was Asiatic Library, Churchgate.
The cycling route covered the finest areas of Mumbai ~ Minus The Traffic; What better, right?
Riding from Gateway of India to Marine Lines to Haji Ali to Worli Sea-Face and back to Colaba, it happened to be a Blissful Morning; with the morning breeze kissing our faces.
Midway through, we provided healthy breakfast and drinks, and played games alongside the bay. It helped us connect with like-minded people and gear up for the next half of the ride!
Mumbai is truly BAE.
DATE WITH THE OCEAN – A Sunday of Every Month
Borivali Youth Forum came into place in June, 2017.
Apart from conducting adventurous and youth-orientated activities, we now endeavor to do our bit to give back to the society.
One such endeavor is the "Beach Cleanup Drive" in association with UN Laureate Afroz Shah.
Because of such efforts, Olive Ridley turtles were hatched after 20 years in Mumbai.
We believe in "Start Small, make Big Differences."
Beach Cleanup is a continuing commitment by Borivali Youth Forum, happening every once a month, on Sundays. This is our small step for contributing our bit to Sustainable Development.
